Review: Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Pressed Powder

Usually when shopping I try to stay away from the Chanel counter, because it’s inevitable that my wallet will take a major beating. I treated myself to a Les Beige powder after coveting the product for months, and I must say I am not disappointed. I mean, if I could marry this compact and take off to the south of France… I surely would.  Anyways – I was initially attracted to the product because of the compact’s stunning new look. Instead of the standard black, the compact is an elegant off-white, with a lacquer-like finish. So – what does it do? Chanel Les Beiges powder is designed to produce a healthy, natural glow all the while protecting skin from sunlight and environmental factors with the addition of its SPF 15 filter. So if you’re looking for a matte finish and heavy coverage, this isn’t the product for you. The pressed powder is sheer, lightweight, and gives your skin that luminous, ethereal, dewy glow we’re all after for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. Overall I found the product to be long lasting, light and true to its claims of producing a healthy natural glow.
